A sneak peek of what’s happening in the Europa League on Thursday:
CELTA VS. Milan
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has returned to play in the Europa League against Celtic after recovering from coronavirus Ibrahimovic returned to education last week and scored two goals in AC Milan’s 2–1 win against Inter Milan in a Serie A derby. NAPOLI VS. AZ ALKMAAR
Dutch football club AZ Alkmaar travelled to Naples with thirteen players marginalized by coronavirus infections. This includes 8 new cases among players after a previously reported outbreak. Most of those players have no symptoms. AZ named a team of another 19 players for the game. Napoli will be full of confidence after beating Atalanta 4-1 this weekend.
YOUNG CHILDREN VS. Rome
Rome and Edin Dueko entered the Young Boys intelligently. He scored his first two goals of the season on Sunday when Roma arrived here to beat Benevento 5-2. Rome won on his last holiday in Switzerland, against Basel. in 2010, however, the Young Boys have won their three European home games against the Italian opposition: Udinese, Napoli and Juventus.
TOTTENHAM VS. Lask
Having come as an opposite replacement for West Ham in his first appearance since returning to Tottenham, Gareth Bale could begin his first fight against LASK, the team that finished fourth in Austria last season. This is the third time Mourinho has coached the competition, having won it with Porto and Manchester United, who have won it twice before, the Portuguese point to a hat-trick. “It’s hard, it’s a very long competition, the level of organization is complicated, so you move on to the eighth round and you get Champions League organizations, which is very unfair,” Mourinho said. FAST VIENNA VS. Arsenal
