Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has jokingly revealed he “doesn’t like” James Maddison after the Tottenham star failed to fulfil his role in helping the Reds win the Premier League. “The moment Kompany scored. I’m satisfied that I didn’t have a stroke at that time, because that’s how I have to feel,” Klopp told Redmen TV. “I was lying on the couch and I thought, ‘Maddison!
Klopp gestured to highlight the photo taken, adding: “And since then I don’t like Maddison!And that day I was mad at Brendan because [Maddison] was tired and they had taken him away.
“Leicester played very well in the first half. Then they scored. Of course, it’s not a public thing, I don’t have any challenges with it. I saw it last weekend.
Klopp also mocked Rio Ferdinand for comments made through the former Manchester United defender a year later. As Liverpool led the Premier League as the country entered an era of lockdown due to Covid, Ferdinand joked that the league would be cancelled.

“I think Rio Ferdinand said, ‘I think you cancel the league,'” Klopp said.
“I forgot it was him [who said that] because I recently gave him an interview. . . It wasn’t a smart interview anyway!
Klopp will lead Liverpool for the last time when the Reds host Wolves at Anfield on Sunday. In what will be an emotional afternoon, the 56-year-old will bid farewell to the home fans after years at the helm of the team.
