Juventus asks Barcelona midfielder Arthur Melo for a million pounds

The 23-year-old will remain in the Nou camp until the end of the existing campaign, which has been delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

A on Barca’s official online website said: “FC Barcelona and Juventus FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of player Arthur Melo. The Italian club will pay 72 million euros, plus 10 million euros of variables.

The player will remain at FC Barcelona until the end of the official festival of the 2019-2020 season.”

The World Cup-winning goalkeeper has replaced former Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, but will remain at the club at least until the end of next season.

Captain Chiellini, who has been at Juventus for 16 years, has also signed a 12-month extension.

The 35-year-old headquarters joined Livorno in 2004 and has played 509 matches in all competitions.
