Juventus connects to Thomas Partey

Juventus have been involved with Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey, who is reportedly about to join Arsenal.

The bianconeri are making plans for a review of their staff following the appointment of Andrea Pirlo last week, with Blaise Matuidi having already left the club to sign for Inter Miami.

Juventus’ online news page, Ilbianconero, reports that the club is recently focusing on outgoing players, rather than shopping, but is looking to recruit a striker, two sides and at least one or two new midfielders for the team.

For this reason, reports that Juve has resumed contact with Atletico over the 27-year-old midfielder Partey, who can play various roles in the team, adding up in midfield.

Ilbianconeri suggests that Partey is in a position to leave Los Colchoneros this summer, if the right opportunity arises, and will be available for 40 or 50 million euros.

The report suggests that the bianconeri will seek to move the rates by adding one player as a counterpart, with two names probably to do the trick: Federico Bernardeschi and Douglas Costa.

The two extremes are in a similar situation and will relaunch their careers elsewhere, and they may turn to Madrid when the talks between the two clubs begin.
