Timothy Weah has the all-important summer transfer from Juventus, marking one of the club’s quietest windows in recent memory.
However, the American striker may only spend one season with the Bianconeri as they are considering potential adjustments to their squad in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Weah got off to a promising start in Turin, temporarily earning a place in the starting line-up upon his arrival at the club.
However, his luck has worsened in recent weeks and Weah has struggled to get normal playing time.
Coach Max Allegri seems to be calling for more consistency from the winger, and sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli knows of possible replacements for Weah within the team.
As reported by Juventus News24, Giuntoli is following the progress of Freiburg’s Kiliann Sildillia and Bayern Munich’s Noussair Mazraoui.
Having closely watched both players over the past few months, Giuntoli predicts that Sildillia or Mazraoui could make a significant contribution to the team if they sign for Juventus in Turin.
Juve FC says
Weah hasn’t lived up to the hype at the Allianz Stadium so far, but he also joined the club when the team wasn’t in very good shape, so he asked to do too much, too soon.
He still has a few games left before the end of this season to prove that he can be a more valuable player for the team, and we wish him the best of luck in that.
