Juventus are unlikely to buy long-term target Georgyi Sudakov, who recently extended his contract and has a €100m release clause, but they are intrigued by another Shakhtar Donetsk striker Danylo Sikan, reports TuttoSport.
His scouts will be keeping an eye on him whether it’s in the upcoming clash between Bosnia and Ukraine. The new target will turn 23 in April and will be to play as a first or second striker. He has a much lower rating than his fellow star.
Juventus have decided on Sikan because he will have some moving parts in attack. While Dusan Vlahovic is expected to stay, with or without a renewal, alongside Arkadiusz Milik. On the other hand, Federico Chiesa or Moise Kean accept new contracts, or they will be put on reserve. On sale this summer. There is growing optimism that the former will signal at least one in the short term.
The Ukrainian striker has eight goals and assists in 29 games this season. He joined Shakhtar at a very young age and recently spent a year on loan in Mariupol. He has seven caps and has scored one goal for his national team.
They may want a new guy if Kean leaves, they can also keep Kaio Jorge or promote another youngster, but the role arguably wouldn’t be a priority if Vlahovic stays. They probably wouldn’t spend a lot of money even if Chiesa leaves, depending on their internal resources.
