Juventus have a new number one goalkeeper, but they are still connected with the goalkeeper search this summer.
The Bianconeri recently have 4 goalkeepers in their first team and want to do without at least one, at most probably Wojciech Szczesny.
Michele Di Gregorio came to Juventus because he is one of the goalkeepers in Serie A. Thiago Motta values teams that are built from the back and signed the former Monza goalkeeper for that reason.
However, Di Gregorio may soon face competition as Calciomercato reports that Juventus are interested in Caoimhin Kelleher.
Kelleher served as a stand-in to Alisson Becker at Liverpool for much of his time at the club and played several games last season when the Brazilian was injured.
At 25, Kelleher could be ready for a new challenge and Juventus are reportedly considering replacing him.
The club has a new list of target goalkeepers and the report claims that Kelleher is highly sought after by the old lady.
Juve FC says
Caoimhin Kelleher did well for Liverpool last season and is a goalkeeper, so signing him could be a smart idea, but we probably wouldn’t convince him to leave Liverpool.
