Juventus could send Tiago Djalo on loan next season to help him regain his best fitness.
The Bianconeri raced to secure the Portuguese’s facilities in January, cutting Inter, who were making plans to sign him as a free agent this summer.
Juventus reached an agreement with Lille, who settled for selling the player for €3. 6 million just six months before his contract expired.
But despite being given the all-clear, the 23-year-old is yet to make his debut for the club. His last competitive appearance was on March 4, 2023, when he suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
According to Calciomercato, Juventus will now leave Djalo on loan for next season, especially if he continues to lack time to play until the end of the season.
It can be a six-year term or a campaign.
In any case, Juve prefer to find him accommodation in Serie A in order to gain valuable experience in the Italian top flight, which differs from the French league.
This experience would also allow the player to slowly regain their fitness in a less complicated environment.
The Portuguese defender is a young product of Sporting who also had a brief stint at Milan side Primavera before joining Lille in 2019, where he established himself as one of Ligue 1’s young centre-backs.
