Juventus are reportedly keeping an eye on Sofyan Amrabat, who spends his time at Manchester United.
The 27-year-old made a name for himself in Serie A, first with Hellas Verona.
The combative midfielder identified himself as a mainstay of Vicenzo’s Italian side Fiorentina, before emerging to stardom at the 2022 World Cup, an integral role in Morocco’s historic run to the semi-finals.
Amrabat’s exploits led him to move to Old Trafford last summer. He signed for Manchester United on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.
However, the player has not inspired on English shores, so it is unlikely that the Red Devils will maintain their facilities beyond the current campaign, explains Eurosport via JuventusNews24.
The midfielder is expected to return to Fiorentina this summer.
That would leave the Tuscans with a headache as his contract expires in the summer of 2025.
Therefore, as the source explains, Juventus could try to exploit the situation depending on the player’s facilities with a low fee.
Although the source doesn’t mention Arthur Melo, his long-term may also come into play.
The Brazilian has recently been on loan from Juventus to Fiorentina, who have the option to buy him for €20 million.
So if the Bianconeri are interested in signing Amrabat, they would probably be willing to give Viola a reduction from Arthur to facilitate the operation.
If he failed in Milan and MU, we will also fail at Juve. It’s worth it!
