Lazio winger Felipe Anderson is still targeting a summer exit with Juventus among his conceivable destinations.
The Brazilian has just finished his contract, which attracts the Bianconeri who would like to sign him as a free agent this summer.
For his part, Lazio president Claudio Lotito would hate the idea of gratuitously wasting one of his star players. So the stubborn boss still has to convince him to sign a new contract.
Recently, Maurizio Sarri resigned as Lazio coach and former Juventus defender Igor Tudor came in as a replacement.
Coincidentally, the Croatian will make his debut as coach of the Biancocelesti backing the Old League in a Serie A clash after the foreign break. The two will meet again in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final three days later.
But even if Lotito hoped that Tudor’s arrival would lead to a breakthrough in negotiations with Anderson, it’s still an unlikely scenario.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport IlBianconero, the Brazilian winger still needs to leave the Club for a new experience.
The 30-year-old joined Lazio in 2013 after emerging through the ranks of Santos. He made a first move to West Ham United in 2018, but his Premier League experience didn’t go as he would have hoped.
Anderson opted to return to the Italian capital for a second season in 2021, re-establishing himself as a mainstay of the club.
This season, the winger has provided 3 and seven assists in all competitions.
