Juventus want to speed up their attempts to pinpoint the main target to get ahead of Liverpool’s threat

A report warns Juventus of Liverpool’s imminent party in the race to sign Atalanta star Teun Koopmeiners.

The Bianconeri have known the Dutchman as their main target in the Parc midfield for next season.

The 26-year-old has established himself as one of the top players in his position since joining La Dea in 2021. He has already reached double the numbers in Serie A by scoring 10 goals this season.

But as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport via JuventusNews24, the Turin giants will have to pay at least €50 million to secure the player’s services.

The Orobicis are valuing their valuable asset at €60 million lately. And anyway, they wouldn’t settle for an offer of less than $50 million.

Thus, despite being a fervent admirer of Koopmeienrs, Juventus’ director of football, Cristiano Giuntoli, has yet to take any concrete action. He realised that the club might not sign the player before qualifying for the Champions League.

While Max Allegri’s men seemed to have it all in the bag, the situation has changed drastically in recent months, with the team leaving problems in almost every single corner.

Juve’s plan includes the sale of Matias Soule, a deal that is expected to generate at least €30 million. The control would reinvest this sum in the Dutch international.

However, the source is urging the Serie A giants to speed up their plans, as Liverpool could get into the fray and pull the whole festival out of the water.

In addition, Koopmeienrs had already expressed in a new interview his preference for signing for the Premier League.
