Juventus will continue to be looking for new midfielders this summer, despite the imminent arrival of Schalke’s Weston McKennie.
The U.S. foreigner is expected to arrive in Turin on Friday and Sky Sport Italia reports that he left the Schalkes preseason education camp in Austria to prepare for his move to Juventus.
Sky also reports that McKennie’s arrival will rule out the club making donations to other midfielders next week, such as Manuel Locatelli and Leando Paredes.
Both players are expected to play a role in the Juve of new coach Andrea Pirlo, that is, to be at the base of a midfield 3.
Corriere Torino warned that a giant offer would convince Sassuolo to include tactics with Locatelli this summer, but the Juve has followed the player for a few years and holds him in the highest esteem.
Locatelli played matches for Neroverdi, scoring 3 goals in his two seasons at Emilia-Romagna.
