Karim Adeyemi’s brace is helping Borussia Dortmund beat Cerezo Osaka and end their Asian tour on an excellent note.

Dortmund landed in Osaka for a tour of Asia and, as the UEFA Champions League finalists traveled to Japan, they achieved their first pre-season victory.

BVB legend Shinji Kagawa, who won the Bundesliga title with Şahin and assistant coach Łukasz Piszczek in 2011, and Osaka scored two goals after his replacement.

In an opening friendly in Bangkok on July 21, reigning Thai League Cup champions BG Pathum United won 4-0, with a group of legends taking up positions at BG Stadium in the lead-up. They returned from Japan on July 25 after a successful tour.

Carsten Cramer, Dortmund’s managing director, said: “We are pleased to continue the culture of our travel in the summer of 2024. We know we have a lot of enthusiasts in Asia, so we are very pleased to be back this time together with Bangkok. “and Osaka, we also discovered two special places that we had never visited before.
