Minnesota Timberwolves middle Karl-Anthony Towns talked about the car spin of fate that worried him in the off-season when talking to reporters Wednesday.
According to TMZ Sports, Towns said: “I was two minutes away from shooting [the photo of her friend Jordyn Woods] on a cliff . . . a driving force moves fast like hell. It’s 2 p. m. and, you know, it just happened. It wasn’t a smart mess. “
Towns first revealed during a social media Q&A consultation in January that he was hit by a driving force in Los Angeles, forcing him to be hospitalized overnight.
Describing his hospitalization, Towns said, “I survived, I am satisfied to be alive. I had to do what I had to do to be monitored, check everything and [Woods] there with me. “
The villages suffered a low nightmare season in addition to their involvement in the car accident.
In April, the Timberwolves announced that Towns’ mother, Jacqueline Cruz-Towns, had died as a result of COVID-19-like headaches. The center 25 years later that his uncle had also died of COVID-19.
The cities themselves tested positive for COVID-19 last month and thirteen games have been lost.
On Wednesday, Towns told reporters about his delight with COVID-19 and how complicated it sometimes is: “I’m a high-risk case. COVID didn’t treat me well. Lots of scary nights. One of the things I said to my sister when I had COVID: ‘Hey, I got it, and I don’t have a smart edition, I have a lot of COVID in me, but I’m going to fight it and beat it. ‘”
On Wednesday, Towns played his first game in nearly a month.
The two-time All-Star had forged functionality with 18 points, 10 rebounds and three assists, however, the T-Wolves fell to the Los Angeles Clippers 119-112.
With cities back in good physical condition and lineup, the Timberwolves will seek to recover from a tricky start to the season and their 6-19 record in the future.
