“With a thoughtful prayer and lengthy discussions with my family, we believe it is most productive for me to withdraw from my senior year at LSU and begin education for the NFL Combine,” he wrote in the statement. “I worked a long and long time to get a chance to play in the NFL. I am venerated and excited to take on this next challenge with humility, integrity and dignity. I will be Forever LSU.”
