Kieran Tierney has told Celtic what his position is in terms of a return to the club after entering the final six months of his contract at Arsenal, with the chances of a January deal being revealed to TEAMtalk.

One caller who has been the focus of discussion is former player Kieran Tierney, who has been linked with a return to Celtic Park. As TeamTalk reported last month, the guard is very open to returning and needs to give his boyhood club every one. and every possibility of making an agreement.
Sources have now reported that he has given the green light for a full return and that this could happen in the coming weeks as Arsenal are reportedly willing to loan him out until the end of the season. This would allow him to move and have part of his current salary covered before his contract expires in six months.
There could also be an avenue where a small loan fee is paid that would likely cover the cost of the remainder of his contract. That would be around the £2.5 million mark, which is a large loan fee for Scottish football but would be seen as a minimal amount to get Tierney back on a permanent basis.
He could then come back to Glasgow before negotiating and making the return permanent in the summer. It’s something sources have always stated he wants and during the summer of last year he was keen to get closer to home.
One resolution was not imaginable at the time, however it is now quite another and the way is open for Celtic to land Tierney and make their fan base incredibly happy.
He would like to lose the area on the left, as they have Greg Taylor, Alexandro Bernabei, Adam and Alex Valle on the team lately. Bernabei is and is expected to leave this month and Taylor is being tracked through various sides adding Dinamo.
The Celtic is open to Taylor goes to the right price, but it is still about to be seen that the Scottish defense would be willing to leave the premiership champion.
Brendan Rodgers asked about the possibility of meeting with Tierney last month, telling Sky Sports: “Kieran is someone I know very well, but there will be a lot of players linked to a move to Celtic.
“We will never communicate about a player, especially a young player who is at another club. But we have paintings to do, we know that. We still need the team in several key areas.
“But in the meantime, the players we have here have painted like this and we will continue with them and see what happens in January. “
