Juventus have two standout Serie A midfielders: Atalanta’s Teun Koopmeiners and Bologna’s Lewis Ferguson.
The Bianconeri have been following both players closely for several months and appear to be on the verge of deciding which one to follow.
Having largely discovered those talented midfielders, Juventus are convinced that Koopmeiners or Ferguson could be particularly their team.
Despite having some of the league’s players, Juventus have known a gap in their midfield beyond Adrien Rabiot and an in-form Weston McKennie.
Addressing this gap in midfield is a precedent for Juventus, and at least one of the Koopmeiners or Ferguson are expected to be their summer signings.
Choosing between the two talented midfielders presents a challenge, and former Juventus star Alessio Taccinardi has expressed his preference for the club to acquire either player, highlighting their quality and outlook on the team.
He said, quoted via Tuttomercatoweb:
“In my opinion, Juve also deserve to elect them. This team wants midfielders who can score goals: and they are. You want intense players: and they are. Players who dribble and attack the goal: and they are. They complement each other very well and I would choose them too. If I had to choose, I would also have the technical guide: Koopmeiners likes dribbling more, Ferguson goes inside. But of course, I would like to see them combined and in my opinion they are two Juventus players.
Juve FC says
Whichever midfielder we point to, we will have a smart midfielder in our squad and we want to do everything we can to make sure we win the race to sign at least one.
