The state of North Carolina has allowed 12 systems to resume after the school suspended all sports activities before this week, but football remains unresolved for now.
On Friday, athletics director Boo Corrigan said the school was making plans for some other test circular for the football program and would take a resolution on the next steps with “additional data at our disposal.”
He had to postpone his September 12 game against Virginia Tech for two weeks due to an organization of cases among Wolfpack athletes.
Corrigan said the resolve to resume activities for some sports came after the team evaluated the school from Monday’s recess.
Athletics spokesman Fred Demarest said the permitted systems to continue were men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s football, male and female cross-country, volleyball, baseball, softball, gymnastics, wrestling and rifle.
In addition to football, the notable systems are: male and female golf, swimming and male and female nails; men’s and women’s tennis; and the athletics of men and women.

A user familiar with the scenario says Auburn’s football team has canceled their last two practice sessions due to COVID-19-related disorders after positive this week.
It is unclear how many players, coaches or other people tested positive. Auburn’s coach Gus Malzahn has not yet spoken to reporters on Saturday. Auburn spokesman Kirk Sampson only showed that the Tigers did not practice Wednesday or Thursday as planned.

Roma cancelled its initial pre-season consultation as a precautionary measure after a third player tested positive for coronavirus.
Right-back Bruno Peres said on Instagram that he’s positive. Add that it’s ok and has no symptoms.
Roma goalkeeper Antonio Mirante and extreme Carles Pérez already have positive.
Two players from the Roma youth team have COVID-19.
The club has announced that it will release a virus test circular on Saturday before deciding whether to continue training.
Serie A is scheduled to begin on September 19.

Union Berlin plans to celebrate the centenary of its stadium against enthusiasts for the first time since the coronavirus pandemic outbreak.
The Bundesliga club has announced that it will receive Nuremberg in a pre-season friendly on September 5 and that up to 5,000 more people will attend. Hygiene measures shall apply.

A player took the coronavirus test before a women’s tennis tournament in Prague.
Tournament director David Trunda said the unidentified player is isolated in his hotel room and will be re-examined. Trunda says the player has not met any other participants in the tournament.
Players are evaluated upon arrival and have to wait in their hotel room for results.
The occasion is for players who have participated in the US Open qualifying tournament. It opens on Saturdays.
The US Open classification was canceled this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The International Judo Federation has announced that it is relaunching occasions that will boost qualification for the Tokyo Olympics.
International judo occasions began to be affected by coronavirus in February, when Chinese groups withdrew from the festival in Europe. Cancellations began in March.
