Lazio and Borussia Dortmund are among the numerous European clubs that have been linked with Sergio Reguilon after the Tottenham Hotspur defender’s loan deal with Manchester United came to an end.
With Reguilon’s loan contract until the end of the season, Manchester United will terminate the player’s contract early.
An emergency signing ahead of the summer move deadline, Reguilon recruited to update injured Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, who have returned to form.
However, although he was the only recognised left-back available, Reguilon lost minutes to Diogo Dalot, who played on the left while Aaron Wan-Bissaka played at right-back.
While it is possible that the Spaniard will return to Spurs, where in the past he struggled to get time to play, he could soon leave the London club again, with the media linking him with a number of clubs.
Lazio Siamo Noi have claimed that Serie A club Lazio are submitting a loan offer for the 27-year-old in the January transfer window.
Still, they would possibly have to face Borussia Dortmund of the Bundesliga, and The Peoples Person reported that they could also move for him in January.
Fabrizio Romano later pointed to Dortmund’s interest in Reguilon, adding weight to that claim.

Spanish news site fichajes. net also spoke about Dortmund’s interest in Reguilon, adding that they want a left-back given that Ramy Bensebaini will not be available while participating in the Africa Cup of Nations.
The site adds that two La Liga rivals could also lure Reguilon to their home Spain.
Real Betis has been named as a potential suitor, with manager Manuel Pellegrini reportedly looking to boost his squad depth as his team set their sights on European football next season.
High-flying Girona are the other Spanish club linked to Reguilon, and the club is said to be looking for another left-back for starter Miguel Gutierrez as they battle for a fantastic La Liga triumph.
