Flamengo have reportedly started talks with Lazio to sign Brazilian midfielder Marcos Antonio.
The Biancocelesti bought the 24-year-old from Shakhtar Donetsk for €7. 5m in the summer of 2022. The guru of the moving market believes that the two clubs can also reach an agreement on the formula. This could be a first loan with an option to purchase or legal liability associated with certain conditions. The payment for the move can also be between four and five million euros.
The source adds that Antonio himself is in favor of this resolution and has already reached an agreement in principle with Flamengo. The midfielder’s contract with Lazio is valid until June 2027.
