Lazio’s sporting director Igli Tare has taken the ordinary decision to factor a brief just to announce that he does not respect David Silva’s “man” after joining Real Sociedad rather than the Italians.
Silva, 34, officially left Manchester City on Monday after 10 years at the club, marking him as arguably his best player.
The playmaker proved last year that he plans to leave in 2020 at the end of his contract, sometimes there have been few hypotheses as to where he might end up next.
That was until recent weeks, however, when Lazio seemed certain to be Silva’s new home, with the media claiming that all was in agreement and a medical examination had been planned.
But La Real caused surprise on Monday when, a few hours after City announced its goal of immortalizing Silva with a statue, the Basque club proved that former Spain missed its new player.
The news reportedly angered and shocked Lazio, and Tare’s resolve to factor in a brief, if withering, seemed to verify the club’s position.
Accompanied without any additional comment from the institution at large, Tare’s investigation of the stage was published on Tuesday on the Lazio website, with the director saying: “I am learning about the signing of David Silva by Real Sociedad. I have a lot of respect for the player, however not for the man.
Silva has signed a two-year contract with La Real, with which he will appear in La Liga for the first time since leaving Valencia in 2010.
It will be the Basque club of Silva, who spent a season on loan at Eibar at the beginning of his career.
