Lazio are in close contact with Sassuolo as they look to explore a deal for winger Armand Lauriente this summer.
The Biancocelesti have been hard at work in the summer transfer window, temporarily bolstering Marco Baroni’s squad, and a number of players have already arrived, including Loum Tchaouna, Tijjani Noslin, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and Nuno Tavares.
Lazio must also close a deal for Gaetano Castrovilli, who is lately a free agent after his contract with Fiorentina expired this month, and has yet to show any signs of slowing down.
As reported by Alfredo Pedulla, Lazio has contacted Sassuolo to start serious talks about a possible agreement for Lauriente, knowing his value of around 15 million euros. Other clubs in Italy and Europe are also interested in the 25-year-old.
Last season, the French winger scored five goals and provided six assists in 37 Serie A games, being sidelined despite the team’s poor form. His contract with Neroverdi lasts until June 2027.
