Russian midfielder Daler Kuzyaev has signed a two-year contract with French side Le Havre.
The newly promoted club from the port city in the Normandy region said Kuzyaev, who had no contract with Zenit St. Petersburg, will sign for his new teammates in the coming days.

Kuzyaev, who played in the Champions League and represented Russia at the 2018 World Cup, will bring a dose of fun to a team that secured promotion by winning the current departmental title.

Kuzyaev made 46 appearances for Russia.
Financial terms of the deal have been announced.

Kuzyaev has helped Zenit earn the Russian name in each of the past five seasons, but failed to play in the Champions League last season. All Russian teams were excluded from European competitions because of the country’s war against Ukraine by UEFA.
