“Leave us alone!” The club’s boss sends caution to Chelsea after confirming a transfer of 40 million euros

NEWS. . . BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

Palmeiras manager Abel Ferreira has warned Chelsea to “leave us alone” after confirming the imminent arrival of Estevao Willian at Stamford Bridge.

The Premier League giants broke tactics under Mauricio Pochettino earlier this week but are already continuing their summer recruitment campaign despite the absence of a new head coach.

Ipswich Town’s Kieran McKenna has emerged as the leading candidate to succeed Pochettino, but the Blues will face Brighton and Manchester United.

Whoever succeeds Pochettino will likely take advantage of the presence of one of Brazil’s top-rated young prospects.

Chelsea have reportedly already reached an agreement worth an initial €40m for the 17-year-old, but that payment will increase, especially if a number of smoothly achievable functionality targets are met.

Les Bleus have recently signed several young players from South America, Andrey Santos, Deivid Washington, Angelo and 17-year-old Ecuadorian striker Kendry Paez, who will arrive in 2025 from Independiente del Valle.

Chelsea also hired Sam Jewell from Brighton, where he was involved in their global skills detection network, specifically in South America.

For Palmeiras, the significant monetary rewards they will get from Chelsea and Real Madrid, who have already agreed to sign prodigy Endrick, are offset by the loss of two potential superstars.

“Leave us alone,” Ferreira said. I hope Chelsea don’t sign any other of our players, I hope they leave us alone.

“Please give us a break. “
