Leicester City-linked Valentin Barco is reportedly about to move to Brighton.
Recent reports have claimed that Premier League champions Manchester City are on the verge of signing Barco before loaning him out to the Foxes. It has been rumoured that Cityzens Leicester manager Enzo Maresca could help prepare the player for top-flight English football.
The defender still has 12 months left on his contract with Boca and the Argentine side will most likely sell him in January as it is their busy season. Brighton have also been linked with the 19-year-old.

And now, movement guru Fabrizio Romano reports that the Seagulls are finalising Barco’s move to Manchester City, which would also be a major blow to the Foxes.
“Brighton have closed a definitive deal with Valentin Barco!”He posted on X, formerly known as Twitter: “With the meeting with Boca taking place [on Monday], Brighton are expected to generate a $10 million buyout clause.
“The agreement will be finalised this week with all documents to be prepared in the next days. Here we go, coming soon.”
