New Chelsea member Timo Werner said coach Frank Lampard is working hard to get the team to the same point as Manchester City and Liverpool.
Germany’s foreigner arrived at Stamford Bridge in July from RB Leipzig in an agreement of 47.5 million pounds ($59 million), signing a five-year contract for 170,000 euros per week.
Werner has enjoyed Chelsea so far, scoring in his debut in Saturday’s 1–1 draw with Brighton.
And the joy of running with Lampard, 24, has been positive so far, with the former Blues legend drawing up a plan for the club’s future.
