New Chelsea member Timo Werner said coach Frank Lampard is working hard to get the team to the same point as Manchester City and Liverpool.

Germany’s foreigner arrived at Stamford Bridge in July from RB Leipzig in an agreement of 47.5 million pounds ($59 million), signing a five-year contract for 170,000 euros per week.

Werner has enjoyed Chelsea so far, scoring in his debut in Saturday’s 1–1 draw with Brighton.

And the joy of running with Lampard, 24, has been positive so far, with the former Blues legend drawing up a plan for the club’s future.

“The paintings with the coach have been very good recently,” Werner told Chelsea’s official website.”He showed and explained to the whole team, not just me, what we can do in the area and how last season.”with groups like Man City and Liverpool.

“I think Chelsea is a wonderful club and with this team we have, I think we can succeed on a new level. We have some very smart players here and the coach is there to show us the way and improve.

We’ve been working tactical issues, as well as our strength and fitness, to make sure we’re in a position for the start of the season.

Werner, who won the move to London after scoring 34 goals in 45 games for Leipzig last season, has adapted well to this new environment and is very happy to start the new season.

“Now I know the way from the house to the education floor, so that’s good!” he said.”It is vital to know your way to your new environment and we have also trained in the stadium, so now I know the way to Stamford.Bridge.” My apartment is very nice, I am satisfied there and the city of London is amazing. For me, London is one of the most productive cities in the world, so I’m satisfied.

“When you leave for a few days, the weather is also very beautiful!Yes, I’m very satisfied and I’m settling well.”

Werner is very likely to make his competitive debut when Brighton host Chelsea in their first Premier League game of the season on 14 September.
