BERLIN – Bayer Leverkusen returned from two times to a 4–3 victory over Borussia Monchengladbach to close the seventh round of Bundesliga matches on Sunday.
Lucas Alario’s double helped Werkself defeat the twice-failed to protect his advantage thanks to Lars Stindl.
Leverkusen took advantage of the initial beep and had occasions thanks to Leon Bailey and Alario in the early stages.
