Arsenal has shown the signing of Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes with a long-term contract.
Arsenal unveiled it in a press on its website.
The 22-year-old Brazilian’s club would wear our number 6 shirt.
Gabriel, whose full call is Gabriel dos Santos Magalhaes, his career in Brazil with Avai FC, before joining Lille in January 2017.
During his in France, Gabriel spent some time on loan with Troyes in France and recently in Croatia with Dinamo Zagreb.

Upon his return from his loan terms, the Sao Paulo-born defender, a regular player on the Lille side, helped him finish fourth in Ligue 1 last season and start all six Champions League organizing-level matches.
Arsenal’s technical director Edu said: “We are very happy to have signed Gabriel.He is a player that we have been reading for a while and asked through many clubs, so we are proud to have accepted and finished this move with Lille and Gabriel is a high quality player and Mikel and his coaches are looking ahead to integrate it into the club.
Mikel Arteta added: “We welcome Gabriel to Arsenal.It has many qualities that will make us more powerful as a defensive unit and as a team.He has shown with Lille that he is a defender with many notable attributes and we look forward to seeing him grow up as an Arsenal player.
