Manchester United defender Raphael Varane has reportedly been considered as Al-Nassr’s next signing, given his struggles at Old Trafford.
Varane has been in and out of the United squad this season under Erik ten Hag, and only as a replacement in their 3-0 win over West Ham United on Sunday.
After conceding three goals in their topsy-turvy encounter with Wolverhampton Wanderers in midweek, and a further two away to League Two Newport County, Ten Hag reinstated Harry Maguire to the starting XI in place of Varane at the weekend after his return from injury.
Despite six consecutive Boxing Day exits, Varane has secured a regular position in the Red Devils’ defense since arriving from Real Madrid in 2021.

Manchester City have reportedly completed the signing of Brazilian winger Savio until the end of February.
The 19-year-old is currently on loan at sister club Girona from French side Troyes, another member of City Football Group, and has elevated his game to new heights in the Spanish top flight this season.
Indeed, Savio – also known as Savinho – has scored five goals and registered seven assists in 23 La Liga appearances for surprise title contenders Girona, who sit just two points behind leaders Real Madrid.
The winger has also scored two goals in four Copa del Rey games this season, most recently in the 3-2 loss to Mallorca in the quarter-finals.

Manchester United are reportedly hopeful that Bruno Fernandes has no interest in a transfer to the Saudi Pro League.
Despite divided opinion over whether he should have the captain’s armband, Fernandes remains United’s key player in the final third.
A total of seven goals and seven assists have been scored in 31 appearances in all competitions this season, and the Portuguese foreigner continues to create more than any other player in the Premier League.
Holding a contract until 2026, which is effectively 2027 due to the 12-month option that they possess, United do not necessarily have to have any concerns over a departure for their chief playmaker.

Chelsea are reportedly still interested in signing Barcelona winger Raphinha in the summer.
In 2022, soon after the takeover of the Blues, new co-owners Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital attempted to bring in Raphinha from Leeds United.
However, as was later the case with Sevilla defender Jules Kounde, the Premier League lost to Barcelona in the race to sign him.
Since arriving at the Camp Nou, Raphinha can boast of having enjoyed a run of success, making a name for himself in La Liga and contributing 14 goals and 19 assists in 70 appearances in all competitions.
