HOW DUNDALK DOES IT
Dundalk reached europa League level of organization for the time being in four years, with a 3–1 home win over KI Klasvik.
Sean Murray, Daniel Cleary and Daniel Kelly beat the hosts, who were never too worried about their Faroe Islands enemies.
Ole Erik Midtskogen discovered Klasvik’s, but Dundalk facilitated qualifying laps.
HOW THE HOOPS DID IT
Odsonne Edouard returned home halfway to allow Celtic to move safely to the organization level when Neil Lennon’s men won 1-0 at FK Sarajevo.
Goalkeeper Vladan Kovacevic overdulled Ryan Christie’s shot, allowing Edouard to score the winner’s opening.
HOW THE RANGERS DID IT
Side Side James Tavernier scored his seventh goal in as many games as the Rangers beat Galatasaray 2–1 at Ibrox.
Steven Gerrard’s men reached the eighth round of the European second division tournament last season and were not in the mood not to triumph at the festival this time.
Scott Arfield discovered the network just 3 minutes after the first game when the Rangers took it just before the hour, Tavernier’s back was influential in an orderly structure that also involved Alfredo Morelos and Ianis Hagi.
Marcao’s late headbutt made the hosts nervous, but Gerrard’s men held out.
As the spurs did
Harry Kane’s hat-trick propelled Tottenham to the Europa League stages with a 7–2 win over Maccabi Haifa in north London.
Giovani Lo Celso scored twice in 3 minutes when Jose Mourinho’s Spurs overwhelmed his Israeli at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Lucas Moura also in the bow, before Dele Alli changed a penalty in extra time.
Tjaronn Chery and Nikita Rukavytsya defended Maccabi, but the traveling team beat Mourinho’s men.
The victory puts the Spurs in Friday’s draw hat at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

HE’S A BALL AGITATOR.
The Europa League draw is HERE.
Arsenal, Tottenham, Leicester, Celtic and Rangers are all in the hat for the 48-team draw to be held in Nyon this afternoon.
But that’s how they got there.
AC Milan reached europa League level of organisation after a nervous 9-8 penalties win over Portuguese club Rio Ave on Thursday, after scoring a satisfied draw at the last minute in extra time.
Milan lost 2-1 in overtime until Toni Borevkovic conceded a penalty in the 121st minute with a reckless hand, allowing Hakan Calhanoglu to tie the match.
Rio Ave then had three chances to win the penalty shootout, but wasted time, before Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma made the decisive stop to send his team.
The penalty shootout has 24 total consequences, with either goalkeeper sending their efforts over the bar.
Tottenham had nothing like Harry Kane scored his first hat trick of the season in a 7–2 win over Maccabi Haifa.
However, last year’s quarter-finalists in Basel and German Wolfsburg were eliminated.
Rio Ave also seemed disappointed after Gelson gave the Portuguese club the lead on time.
However, Borevkovic inexplicably fired a ball into the area with his hand to kick a penalty at the end moments to get his yellow card for now in the process.
In the penalty shootout, Nelson Monte first had to win for Rio Ave with a score of 7-7, but his penalty hit the left post and then crossed the line of purpose before hitting the other post and exiting.
After Donnarumma sent her penalty in the bar at 8-8, her counterpart Pawel Kieszek did the same, and when Chico Geraldes scored a 3rd to win for the Portuguese national team, her header hit the right post.
Tottenham’s victory came precisely one year after his 7–2 loss to Bayern Munich at home in the Champions League organizing stage.
Kane opened the scoring after just two minutes at point blank range and added two more in the middle of the moment.
Giovani Lo Celso scored two goals in the 3 minutes of the first half and Lucas Moura added one for Tottenham before halftime. Dele Alli finished the penalty kick in extra time.
Tjaronn Chery and Nikita Rukavytsya scored for Haifa.
One-match qualifying matches were played in empty stadiums and with a tight schedule during the delayed pandemic season.
The Serbian red star of Belgrade was completed by beating Ararat-Armenia 2–1 in Nicosia. The adjustment passed through UEFA from the Armenian capital of Yerevan to impartial Cyprus amid the country’s clash with neighboring Azerbaijan over the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region.
Qarabag of Azerbaijan after a 3-0 home win in Legia, Poland.
Scottish powers Celtic and Rangers have secured a position in the Europa League for the third consecutive season.
Striker Odsonne Edouard scored Celtic’s goal in Sarajevo, while Rangers eliminated Galatasaray 2–1 at Ibrox Stadium.
Basel were disappointed 3–1 at home through CSKA-Sofia, while Wolfsburg lost 2–1 to Greek AEK.
Spain Grenada, Swiss Young Boys, Dutch club PSV Eindhoven, Croatia Dinamo Zagreb, Standard Liege of Belgium, Dundalk of Ireland and Lech of Poland were among the 21 clubs that qualified for the playoffs.
The draw of the 48 at the organization level is scheduled for Friday.
