It is quite ingenious to broadcast the games and alleviate the anguish of enthusiasts and the circle of relatives who cannot attend because of professional commitments or COVID restrictions.

No baseball?
During the Major League Baseball COVID-19 playoffs, everyone used to not interrupt the action, whether it’s a smart thing, a bad thing, or an indifference, it’s up to each of you.
Well, I think it’s wonderful news that the World Series has been scheduled with breaks after games 2 and 5, allowing us to rest and taking us back to general baseball. I’m going to miss watching baseball tonight, but there’s the presidential debate and I’m sure MLB Network will play Games 1 and 2 anyway.
The Dodgers will go with starters Walker Buehler, Julio Urias and Clayton Kershaw for Games 3, 4, 5.
At Fox Sports (WNYW-5 in New York), Joe Buck joins analyst John Smoltz and bloodhounds Tom Verducci and Ken Rosenthal.
For ESPN Radio, Dan Shulman, Chris Singleton and Jessica Mendoza have the call, which will be available on ESPN Radio New York (98. 7-FM), the ESPN app, ESPNradio. com and SiriusXM.

Giant Thursday
Let’s take a look at the New York Giants, in a series of back-to-back wins in a game, in a key NFC East clash with the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night. The game will be broadcast on Fox Sports (WNYW-5 in New York). NFL Network.
COVID-19 tracking on the Las Vegas Raiders show scared the NFL so much that the league transferred Sunday night’s football game (on NBC) to a regional game on Fox at 4:05 p. m. Instead, the league moved the Seattle Seahawks to the Arizona Cardinals game at 4:05 a. m. on NBC’s national television on Sunday night; there’s a lot of cash in question at Sunday Night Football and the league was looking to make sure the show had a guaranteed game. Converting Thursday’s games will have to be a major nuisance for the two broadcast groups (NBC’s Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth and Fox’s Adam Amin and Mark Schlereth), who were preparing for other games, not to mention the entire body of workers. of the broadcast operations of either network to be replenished in such a short time.
With the move to Glendale, Arizona, this is the sixth time Sunday Night Football has been broadcast from the western part of the nation, breaking the NBC SNF record set in 2014. A seventh game came when Kansas City traveled to Las Vegas on November 22.
“The well-known editor, editor and politician of the 19th century, Horace Greeley, is credited with uttering the phrase: “Go west, young man,” Michaels said.
The national schedule record for Western national programming in 1985 when ABC aired seven of the systems on Monday Night Football, plus five on other nights, a year before Michaels took on the tasks of Monday Night Football for ABC.

Pugs and pubs
For several years, when I was running in Poughkeepsie, my colleagues and an organization of friends at the bar met at a Red Oaks Mill eater’s place called Hobnobbin’Pub. There were wonderful bird wings, a clever verbal exchange at the bar and a space for boxing on TV. At the time, it was USA Sports who was presenting the fights on Tuesday night, Wednesday night or whatever to exhibit them.
Of course, Fox Sports and ESPN put up letters, but there’s nothing bigger than a weekday meeting, an excuse to pass out early before the weekend because of smart pugilism.
With this, NBC Sports Network has scheduled a series of games with Ring City USA until the end of 2021, where boxing will take place on Thursday nights on November 19, December 3 and December 17, and 14 more times in 2021.
The November 19 exhibition is presented through super featherweight O’Shaquie Foster (17-2) against Miguel Román (62-13) in a 10-round match. In addition, light weight William Zepeda (21-0) takes on Roberto Ramirez. (23-2-1) in 10-round combat.
There’s no news on advertisers, but I hope they call busy Kenny Albert, although I think NBC’s blockmate Kenny Rice can also be called.
NBC Sports featured the first live national televised fight in 1939 and featured the sport’s biggest stars, including Joe Louis, Sugar Ray Robinson, Rocky Marciano, Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler and Larry Holmes, Marv Albert and the late Ferdie Pacheco called many fights in the 1980s and 1990s, even noting from Rahway State Prison in New Jersey.
