MANCHESTER UNITED lost their last pre-season match on US soil to Borussia Dortmund to conclude their pre-season tour of the United States.
Diogo Dalot opened the scoring for the Red Devils with a good off-track finish after almost half an hour.
But after holding the lead for 43 minutes, United conceded two goals to Dortmund in less than a minute. Donyell Malen scored goals.
Minutes after the break, the English club equalized after a failed play in the BVB defense.
Unfortunately for United, Dortmund would regain the lead thanks to the spoils of 18-year-old Youssoufa Moukoko.
BVB would maintain the lead for the rest of the match, in United’s third consecutive defeat.

Erik ten Hag criticised the “unforgivableness” of his Manchester United players against Borussia Dortmund in the 3-2 defeat in Las Vegas.
He said: “Yes, [the match] in two parts, the first hour intelligent, we played as a team, a lot of dynamics, intelligent pressure.
“It was fantastic to see and that’s what I wanted to say at half-time, but suddenly they conceded two goals.
“They were gifts and it was boring. But the last part was bad, a bad performance. “
“They didn’t play by the rules at all, not in the pressure, not in the preparation, not in the attack. There were 11 other people on the ground.
“It’s not smart at all. I told the team that I think it’s a smart ride, but you have to finish with smart functionality and there were only 60 minutes that I was satisfied with, but not with the goals we scored. Because the first bad in defense and the poor moment in preparation.
“It’s not us, we have to keep control, keep the ball and the same for the 3-2. It can’t happen and it’s unforgivable, even if it’s a friendly match. “
Bruno Fernandes has denied allegations that he ignored new Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana in his side’s 2-0 loss to Real Madrid.
But before the attack on Dortmund, a short video appeared on the net, with Fernandes walking past Onana as the goalkeeper tried to communicate the clash with Real Madrid.
And the title of the clip featured the new Red Devils captain in the spotlight.
He said: “Captain Bruno does not need to correct or advise him. Bruno, who finishes [sic. ], ignores the new recruit Onana ?. “
However, Fernandes didn’t care because he responded to the message explaining what was going on.
He said: “Okay as you might see me ignoring it when I went to where I was told to be located on the corner ?. Well, I tried to give a bad symbol ?. “
ERIK TEN HAG criticised the “unforgivableness” of his Manchester United players against Borussia Dortmund in their 3-2 defeat in Las Vegas.
After a 2-0 loss to Real Madrid on Thursday, the Red Devils responded by going ahead of Diogo Dalot midway through the first half.
But a quick brace from Donyell Malen shortly before half-time replaced the game for the German side.
Antony then equalised at the start of the second half, before Youssoufa Moukoko scored the winning goal 19 minutes from the end.
And Ten Hag is damning in his assessment of his team’s performance, focusing on the depressing final 30 minutes.
He said: “Yes, [the match] in two parts, the first hour intelligent, we played as a team, a lot of dynamics, intelligent pressure.
“It was fantastic to see him and that’s what I meant at half-time, but suddenly they conceded two goals.
“It can’t happen and it’s unforgivable, even if it’s a friendly match. “
Andre Onana missed it when a failed clearance by Harry Maguire nearly charged Manchester United’s goal in Sunday’s 3-2 loss to Borussia Dortmund.
The £47 million goalkeeper yelled at the midfielder shortly after arriving on the pitch in the second half.
Individual errors charged Erik Ten Hag’s men twice in the first forty-five minutes, leading to two quick goals from Donyell Malen that gave Dortmund a 2-1 lead at half-time.
First, Brandon Williams’ challenge allowed Karim Adeyemi to smoothly pass to the English full-back and then contribute to Malen’s equaliser.
Soon after, Victor Lindelof gave the ball away just outside the area and the former Arsenal star beat Tom Heaton, scoring two goals in two minutes.
Onana watched the mistakes from the bench before replacing Heaton at half-time.
And he seemed to have little patience for mistakes when he came in, which was seen when an ill-conceived pass from Maguire allowed Dortmund to take the ball away from Christian Eriksen and launch a counter-attack.
Julian Brandt found Sebastien Haller in the area before Onana stopped the German striker’s shot with a very good save.
The ball landed in Adeyemi’s legs, but the 21-year-old winger shot deflected.
However, Onana was not relieved and approached Maguire without delay, shouting and gesticulating angrily to reprimand the Englishman for his risky play.
