The movement window is there and more condensed than ever before, as clubs frantically seek to gain skill with a short break before starting the new campaign.

Sheffield Wednesday has signed former Wigan defender Chey Dunkley.

Everton wants a replacement for Leighton Baines after his retirement as Lucas Digne’s replacement.
Motherwell has signed a contract with Scottish side stephen O’Donnell.
The 28-year-old has been a club since May after leaving Kilmarnock, who presented him with a new contract.
But now Motherwell has signed O’Donnell on a contract until January with the option of extending his tenure until the end of the season.
