Liverpool injury update: Ibrahima Konate and Conor Bradley: latest news and return dates

Liverpool are flying high at the top of the Premier League table over Christmas, and even their injury concerns are easing.

The Reds thumped Spurs 6-3 on Sunday to move four points clear with a game in hand.

Arne Slot was also able to welcome Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas back from injury, leaving only two in the recovery room.

With that in mind, here’s a look at Liverpool’s most recent injuries. . .

Ibrahima Konate was injured in last month’s 2-0 defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League and Slot admits he cannot set a timetable for the Frenchman’s return.

Asked about Konate and Bradley, Slot said last week: “These are the two that are still ‘in the red’, so they don’t train with us at the moment. They are on their way back but they don’t train with the team yet.”

When asked about a schedule, Slot responded: “That’s what I said before, it’s pretty difficult. We thought, I thought, that [Diogo] Jota would have become a little older by now and the final phase of rehabilitation takes a little longer.

Potential return date: January 2025

Like Konate, Bradley was injured in the victory against Madrid. The hamstring injury is expected to dominate the Northern Irishman for the next few weeks.

“[Bradley and Konate] will be out for a couple of weeks,” the Reds boss said earlier this month.

Slot added last week: “Sometimes they sign up for [the training] and then they say, ‘I’m not fit to start yet. ‘ “So let’s wait and see, but we have a very smart rehab staff here and they did it. smart paintings in a booth with Alisson [Becker] and a few others.

“The most important thing is that if they come back, they’re in a position to come back and you shouldn’t focus on one, two or three days. It’s more important in the long run that they continue to be compatible afterwards. So far they have done very well and I hope that with Conor and Ibou the same thing will happen.

Possible return date: January 2025
