Liverpool injury update: Ibrahima Konate and Conor Bradley latest news and return dates

Liverpool are flying high at the top of the Premier League table over Christmas, and even their injury concerns are easing.

The Reds beat the Spurs 6-3 on Sunday to take a four-point lead with a game in hand.

Arne Slot was also able to welcome Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas back from injury, leaving only two in the recovery room.

With that in mind, here’s a look at the latest Liverpool injuries….

Ibrahima Konate was injured in the 2-0 win over Real Madrid in the Champions League last month and Slot admits he cannot set a timetable for the Frenchman’s return.

When asked about Konate and Bradley, Slot said last week: “They are the two that are still ‘in the red,’ so they are not receiving education with us right now. They are on their way back but not yet They have received education with us. the team.

When asked for a timeline, Slot responded: “That’s what I’ve said before, it’s quite difficult. We thought, I thought, that [Diogo] Jota would have gotten a little old and the final phase of rehab takes a while. ” a little more.

Possible return date: January 2025

Like Konate, Bradley was injured in the victory over Madrid. The hamstring injury is expected to dominate the Northern Irishman in the coming weeks.

“[Bradley and Konate] will be out for a few weeks,” the Reds boss said earlier this month.

Slot added last week: “Sometimes they join [training] and then they are like, ‘I’m not completely ready to start yet.’ So, let’s wait and see but we have very good rehab personnel over here and they’ve done some good work already with Alisson [Becker] and a few others.

“The most important thing is that if they come back, they are in a position to come back and you should not focus on one, two or three days. It is more important in the long term that they continue to have compatibility afterwards. So far they have done very well and I hope that with Conor and Ibou the same thing happened.

Potential return date: January 2025
