Mohamed Salah has reportedly won a massive “offer” to leave Ligue One Premier League side Liverpool Paris Saint-Germain.
Salah is among the top 20 footballers likely to become a free agent this summer amid interest from European clubs and the Saudi Pro League.
Liverpool are desperate to keep the world-class forward, who has arguably been the best player in the Premier League this season.
Salah, 32, has 20 goals and 17 assists in his 26 games for Arne Slot’s side, who have evidently moved to the top of the Premier League.
Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk are in the same position as Salah, but it has been reported that the centre-back and striker will most likely remain beyond this season.
On Wednesday morning, Fabrizio Romano insisted Liverpool were “confident” of reaching a deal for Salah and Van Dijk.
“Liverpool keep negotiating also with Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah,” Romano said.
“Liverpool have their position: they are sure they can achieve it with Salah and Van Dijk, but there is still no progress in the talks.
“So they have work to do on those agreements. “
Despite this, French journalist Romain Collet Gaudin claims that Salah got a higher offer from PSG than Liverpool for two reasons.
Gaudin said: “PSG are very keen to sign the Egyptian this summer and are offering him €500,000 per week for three seasons!
“While Liverpool offer him a smaller extension for two seasons with 400,000 euros per week. “
One merit in Liverpool’s favour is that PSG offer an exciting sporting project, although Danny Murphy has told Slot how to update the Egyptian international.

I think he’s more reliable, more experienced, more of a goal threat and I think he’d thrive in a better team. He’s a wonderful finisher, he’s quick, his link up play is good.
“That would probably be the way I would do it. I would go for someone who is established in the Premier League and then someone younger to be competitive than looking for one to upgrade Salah.
