LIVERPOOL, England (AP) – English Premier League champions Liverpool recruited Olympiakos’ Kostas Tsimikas to replace left-back andrew Robertson.
Tsimikas, 24, moved to Anfield on a five-year contract.
Tsimikas has played 86 matches with the new Greek champion Olympiakos in all competitions. He had some on-going terms with Danish club Esbjerg and Dutch team Willem II.
“He’s a very smart footballer with a win-win attitude, and I like his mindset,” Liverpool coach Juergen Klopp said. “It adapts perfectly to the environment and preference that we already have in our dressing room”.
