Liverpool has reportedly submitted 14.5 million pounds on Greek side Konstantinos Tsimikas.
Olympiacos’ player is on Jurgen Klopp’s short list for Andy Robertson next season.
According to the Greek media outlet Sportime (via Express), the offer is Liverpool’s time in recent weeks and can bring the agreement closer to its end.
Tsimikas has been monitored by Anfield’s scouts for some time and is an idea that suits Klopp’s taste of offensive play.
He would bolster the German manager’s defensive options in preparation for their attempt to retain the Premier League trophy.
The 24-year-old made the impression 20 times in the last campaign, scoring five goals.
He impressed in the Europa League too as Olympiacos reached the round of 16 by beating Arsenal.
The Greek team nevertheless lost to the Wolves of the Premier League team.
Leicester will also sign Tsimikas in case he loses England abroad Ben Chilwell to Chelsea.
Tsimikas is one of many left sides who will connect with a liverpool signing this summer. I may upgrade James Milner as the club’s updated left-back.
The Premier League champions offered relegated Norwich £10 million for Jamal Lewis earlier this week, which was soon rejected.
Norwich is believed to have at least 20 million pounds for his star defender.
However, their relegation to the championship may allow them to settle for a payment of the order of 15 million pounds.
