Here are Liverpool’s morning headlines for Tuesday 1 September.
Liverpool have introduced the new additions of Fabian Mrozek, Mateusz Musialowski and Melkamu Frauendorf.
Jurgen Klopp has made only one addition to his senior team this summer, obtaining Kostas Tsimikas from Olympiacos.
But the academy has been active in weeks and the trio of teenagers has been added to the club’s website.
Mrozek is a goalkeeper who signed with Polish side FC Wroclaw towards the end of last season.
Musialowski and Frauendorf are offensive midfielders and have joined the club respectively from SMS Lodz and Hoffenheim.
Manchester United are final in the signing of Donny van de Beek from Ajax.
The midfielder seems willing to sign for Liverpool worth around 40 million pounds.
And Virgil van Dijk, who plays alongside Van de Beek in the Dutch national team, delivered his verdict on his compatriot’s move.
“Have I tried to replace my brain [about joining United]? No,” he said.
“If it happens, and it seems so, then I give you my wishes wholeheartedly.
“Excellent for him, perfect for Dutch football, for the Dutch national team and wonderful club for an Oranje player.
“The same goes for Nathan Aké, who went to Manchester City. “
Hertha Berlin said she wanted to call Marko Grujic this summer.
Premier League champion Liverpool are in a position to protect their crown as the new season approaches.
The Reds are in a position to return to education after a short break and begin arrangements for the new season.

The Serbian foreigner has spent the last two seasons on loan at Hertha, but Liverpool will now sell it permanently.
And Hertha frontman Michael Preetz says he’s watching the stage closely.
“[Grujic] is a Liverpool player who spent two years on loan with us,” Preetz told Kicker. “He’s been with Liverpool for a few days [during the preseason].
“Unlike last year, Liverpool expressed a desire for Marko to participate in much of the preparation there.
“Then there will be a resolution in England on Marko’s immediate future: will he be loaned again? Is he for sale? Will he be part of Liverpool?”
“This is planned right now. “
