The second component didn’t live up to the entertainment of the first, no doubt in part because both groups made changes. The Gunners had a chance to put the game ahead, with Fabio Vieira making a smart save from Kelleher and Jesús heading in from a corner. In reality, however, they failed to create golden opportunities and Liverpool managed to hold on for the win.

Arsenal looked certain to score when Odegaard gave Martinelli a very good pass on the left.
Martinelli tries to cut it off from Jesus, but Quansah puts a toe on him to intercept him.
I guess being 6 feet 3 inches helps Array.
25 minutes: Carvalho wins a free kick after Havertz knocks him down.
Without Trent Alexander-Arnold, Szoboszlai gets the nod to take the ball – he hits the center too much. A waste.
22 mins: A bit of a delay here and fear for Liverpool as Tsimikas suffers pain after colliding with Jesus.
The left-back is of status and seems in a position to continue.
20 minutes: Should be 1-1.
Nelson goes down the right and cuts it for Jesus, but he can shoot wide.
