“We didn’t know what to expect. We know they’ve made opposite adjustments to Lincoln.
“There’s a lot of joy and wonderful players”
“As you’ve seen, I’ve advanced in leaps and bounds since I play more games. I’m getting bigger and bigger with every game I play and every consultation I have with the first team, so I’m grateful to the coach and his team for inviting me.
“I think I have more maturity as a player and as a user and that benefits me. I just step there and laugh and check to be me and show everyone in the club and the fans around the world who I am and what player I can.
Liverpool will face Arsenal for the time being in a few days tonight when they receive the Gunners at Anfield in the Carabao Cup.
Jurgen Klopp’s men triumphed 3-1 to claim 3 of 3 Premier League victories on Monday night, recovering from Alexandre Lacazette’s first game to score Sadio Mane, Andy Robertson and Diogo Jota.
There were three important issues for the Reds, who had lost their last two games to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
Klopp and Arteta are now likely to make a series of adjustments to tonight’s Carabao Cup, which is a replay of last year’s match, a 5-5 adjustment that ended 5-5 before the Liverpool resort on penalties.
Jota, who opened his Liverpool account on Monday, will be in line to begin with, as will Divock Origi, Harvey Elliott, Marko Grujic, Curtis Jones and James Milner. Kostas Tsimikas is injured and will play, but teen defender Billy Koumetio may well make his deyet.
Kolasinac’s surprise as he heads straight for Jota with Salah hidden, but Arsenal transparently before Jones obediently shoots Leno. Arsenal play with the fireplace on the edge of their own box there.
Arsenal give the lead for a right-wing kick.
Harry Wilson is on the ground after he gets caught. It’s about 35 yards from the goal, so I doubt he’s looking to shoot!Milner takes care of it with him.
Given the players, Arsenal really deserve to do much more here. They sit at Liverpool and are looking to play rest; it’s like they only have one way to play, no matter who’s there. Is the game there for them with this Liverpool defense?
This is all pretty mundane for now after 25 minutes. There’s not much to say about Liverpool’s chances. Just Eddie Nketiah’s chance for the Gunners too.
A decent move involving Minamino, Jones and Salah falls on the important component as the area’s inner pass is crushed by the Japanese international. However, Liverpool built here.
You feel like you have to explode.
Arsenal attempt a loose kick from the ground while spreading it widely to Cedric, but the former Southampton player is offside.
Liverpool are unlucky, as they pursue possession of Arsenal’s ball and almost send the ball to Salah, who is not scored. However, Jones’ hooked centre is too docile and Arsenal return and take him back to Leno.
Liverpool made him feel, just like they did on Monday night,
Virgil van Dijk tries one of his long search balls, turns off and leaves the game.
Another turn for Liverpool after Gabriel first nods to Harry Wilson. Milner for taking this one and it’s transparent from Leno.
It’s Adrian’s vital task to prevent Nketiah. Arsenal from hammering the rest at the Kop. Great early possibility for visitors, that. Smart doorman.
I’d probably have Liverpool’s favorites if Anfield was full, but for me, Arsenal have a bigger team and deserves to win.
A lot of tension for the Gunners because they don’t feel like winning the Premier League, it’s a wonderful trophy for them.
Mo Salah just put Van Dijk in all sorts of disorders with a hospital pass in front of the goal. Fortunately, the defense is alert and freed before it can be closed.
The space opens up well for Williams on the right, but the ball hits his arm as he tries to throw it away. I think Van Dijk may have dropped him in Salah because he had made a wonderful career with his boy and in the area.
Salah is on the left and Jota. Wilson is to the left of Midfield 3, where Shaqiri played last week as opposed to Lincoln, essentially.
“We didn’t know what to expect. We know they’ve made opposite adjustments to Lincoln.

Liverpool won the League Cup in 2012.
Now it’s Captain Jordan Henderson’s first trophy at the club.
Then he asked if this was the sign of what was to come. . .
Liverpool will have to be fed up with Arsenal’s view, this is the fourth time they’ve faced each other in their last nine games, by my calculations.
Everyone has followed a familiar trend so far, with the Reds dominating the odds and property and the Gunners happy to use the risk of counterattack. Tonight will be perhaps the maximum difference, however, given the body of workers’ adjustments on both sides.
