Liverpool drew thanks to their unbeaten run that extended to 20 games in all competitions.
Diogo Jota proved to be the Reds’ savior when he came off the bench to score five minutes from time, firing in a right-footed shot after being played back.
Liverpool’s afternoon was compromised from the start when Andreas Pereira opened the scoring for the visitors, but it was Andrew Robertson’s early red card that caused maximum chaos.
The left-back maintained a questionable touch and will not face lawsuits for his dismissal, which gave the impression of having burdened his team with his long unbeaten streak.
His blushes were first saved by Cody Gakpo’s header at the far post, but the Dutchman’s equalizer lost its meaning when Rodrigo Muñiz put Fulham ahead with 15 minutes remaining.
In the end, a point proved to be the fairest result as Liverpool showed determination to avoid defeat and maintain their lead at the bottom of the Premier League table.

Alisson Becker – 6
He remained quiet for most of the afternoon until he made a stoppage in added time. Saving with his feet to deny Adama Traoré, the Brazilian player provided a timely reminder of why he is Liverpool’s number one choice.
Trent Alexander-Arnold – 6
Operated in midfield for most of the period that Liverpool had 10 men, but wasn’t able to provide a magic moment.
Joe Gomez – 5
He couldn’t settle into Fulham’s moment and didn’t provide the typical metal that Virgil Van Dijk is used to in the center of defence.
Virgilio Van Dijk – 6 years
He could not have done much on either goal and even contributed to his own offensive efforts.
Andrew Robertson – 3
Made his own bed for the red card after taking a heavy touch before hacking Harry Wilson down to the ground as the last man in Liverpool’s defence.

Ryan Gravenberch – 8
Bossed the contest throughout, even after being asked to drop into defence following Robertson’s red card. Slowly emerging as one of the Player of the Season contenders, for both club and the wider league’s award.
Dominik Szoboszlai – 6
Provided legs in midfield but lacked quality at times. Had a hefty job glueing defence and attack for the 10 men, but Liverpool improved when changes were made and the Hungarian was taken off the pitch.
Curtis Jones – 5
At times he seemed lost in the center of the field. Booked for a clumsy shot midway through the second half and got hooked when the scores were tied. He missed his chance to shine with the absence of Alexis Mac Allister.
Cody Gakpo – 7
Quite a lot in the first, before and after the red card. He rightly discovered the net to make it 1-1 with a succulent header from Mohamed Salah’s cross.

Mohamed Salah – 6
I missed a few occasions where a player of his quality deserved to have done better. He provided a stylish hand for Gakpo’s header, but he would have been angry because it didn’t have an even bigger impact on the match.
Luis Diaz – 5
He missed an opportunity that ended in a goal in the first half and did not look comfortably at the forefront of Liverpool’s attack. He was still in high spirits, but it wasn’t his most productive day at the office.
Darwin Núñez (sub) – 6
Liverpool may have played with nine men for most of the Uruguayan’s time on the pitch, but he helped Jota earn an equaliser.
Jarell Quansah (substitutes) – 4
Blinded by Rodrigo Muñiz for Fulham’s second goal moments after leaving the substitutes’ bench.
Diogo Jota (substitute) – 8
He remained calm before achieving the equalizer. Absent from fighting since mid-October due to injury, his return before the hectic Christmas season could prove beneficial for the six-time European champion.
Harvey Elliot (sub) – 6
A bright spark was added from the bench, but some disappointing deliveries. He is someone who will receive a warm welcome after a long injury.
