Liverpool vs Manchester United player rankings were laughing a lot to hand out as the sour rivals put on a display in a wild game at Anfield.
MORE — Amorim’s Reaction | 3 we learned
Lisandro Martinez put United 1-0 in the second half, but Liverpool came back roaring back when Cody Gakpo scored a surprise goal and then Mohamed Salah took a penalty kick. But Amad Diallo then made it 2-2 down and gave United a well-deserved point.
Ruben Amorim will have been extremely cheerful with many of his players, while the Arne slot will be relieved as his team received a point.
It will be placed under the Liverpool vs Manchester United players’ 10 notes, with an investigation of the player.
Alisson: 7 – made a great backup in the first half from Hojlund and controlled the corners on the swing.
Trent Alexander-Arnold: four – A in point of fact lousy defensive display. United’s aims fell to his side, as he gave the ball away in the first goal, and he presented very little attack. Some Liverpool enthusiasts have criticized his drawing close move to Real Madrid and his lack of concentration. Under-extinguished late.
Ibrahima Konate: Five – looked rusty when he returned from injury. The left exposed United’s second goal and was unable to cover the area left by Alexander-Arnold next to him.
Virgil van Dijk: 6. 5 – Tried his best to try and keep things together, but is constantly frustrated by mistakes on his right. Some wonderful recoveries. I also scored from a late corner.
Andy Robertson: 5 — Didn’t have any real impact going forward and couldn’t track Amad Diallo’s run for United’s second goal.
Curtis Jones: 5 — Hooked off early in the second half. Game passed him by and couldn’t get on the ball enough.
Ryan Gravenberch: 6-A decent effort right next to the first part, but may not prevent United is overloaded to the left.
Alexis Mac Allister: 8 – Fine passes for Gakpo’s purpose and constantly moving and waits impatiently. Large screen.
Mohamed Salah: 6 — Scored his penalty kick but didn’t do much else. Dalot had a very good game against him.
Luis Díaz: Five – Very quiet. They downloaded a lot of service and the 3 Central Defenders of United have closed their area to wander.
Cody Gakpo: 7 – Great run and for his goal. Delivered once on the left.
SubstitutionsDiogo Jota (on for Jones 61′): 6 — Had a shot blocked and struggled to get in the game. Darwin Nunez (on for Diaz 60′): 6 — Couple of good runs on the counter but couldn’t get in the box. Conor Bradley (on for Alexander-Arnold 86′): N/AHarvey Elliott (on for Gakpo 86′): N/A
Andre Onana: 7 – Almost stores the penalty and forged at all times. Passed through the past except to deny Bradley.
Matthijs de Ligt: 6 — Unlucky with the penalty kick against him and was solid enough before that.
Harry Maguire: 8 — Heroic defending and was a real leader for United. Was aggressive and kept pushing into midfield to create overloads.
Lisandro Martínez: 8 – Brilliant strike for his purpose and, like Maguire, he stood up when he joined it. Excellent with the ball and continued to advance.
Noussair Mazraoui: 7 – Very strong defensive performance. He is obviously United’s option at right back.
Manuel Ugarte: Nine, probably his functionality for United. He closed the gaps, kept the ball well and made it so complicated for Liverpool’s midfield. No luck with Gakpo’s purpose as he tried to press the ball.
Kobbie Mainoo: 7. 5 – After a slow start, he bounced back and was smart throughout Ugarte. Pressed much higher on the field.
Diogo Dalot: 9 — Outstanding defensively against Salah and that was after getting booked early. His forward runs gave Alexander-Arnold a big problem.
Amad Diallo: 8 – It looked dangerous. He deserves to have scored on his head in the first half, but he kept his cool to score his purpose late. He is up to special occasions.
Bruno Fernandes: 8 – A demonstration of quality with the ball. Nice throws a hand to Martínez’s purpose and oozes elegance and calms things.
Rasmus Hojlund: 7 – Never stopped running and held the ball well. However, he missed a big one in the first half.
Substitution Jandro Garnacho (in Mainoo 72′): 8 – Bright cross for Amad’s purpose and a genuine risk to the left. 87′): N/A
