Liverpool vs Tottenham LIVE!

Liverpool finally found some form in a 4-2 Premier League win over Tottenham on Sunday in beloved manager Jurgen Klopp’s penultimate game at Anfield.

Goals from Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson, Cody Gakpo and Harvey Elliott moved Klopp’s men to within five points of table leaders Arsenal with two games left and four points protecting champions Manchester City, who have a game in hand against both.

Liverpool’s talisman Salah headed home his 18th league goal of the season in the 16th minute before Robertson doubled his lead with a touch just before the break. Gakpo headed in Elliott’s cross in the 50th minute, and then the midfielder hit his own with a rocket from 20 yards away that curled into the most sensitive corner.

Richarlison and Son Heung-min scored two to give a spirited finish, but an unforeseen comeback for Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs, who sit fifth in the table.

Oliver Skipp, Richarlison (who booed at Liverpool) and James Maddison for Tottenham. It’s the turn of Dejan Kulusevski, Emerson Royal and Rodrigo Bentancur.

WHAT A GOAL, HARVEY ELLIOTT!

Cut the inside with his left foot and choose the most sensible corner from 25 meters with aplomb!

Emerson Royal becomes the third Tottenham player to be booked for bringing back Mohamed Salah.

He had a terrible day at left-back. You think Micky van de Ven would have done better, with Radu Dragusin for the central role.

The Liverpool kid is finishing the season.

Half chance for Brennan Johnson with a decent cross, which he headed close to Alisson, who held on.

This part becomes everything Ange Postecoglou would have feared.

Spurs have done nothing to remedy this attack since the break.

Luis Diaz feeds Trent Alexander-Arnold’s diagonal run into the box, but an important shot takes the ball away from him.

CODY GAKPO FOR THREE!

A great cross from Harvey Elliott and the Dutch striker buried his head.

Excellent performance by Jarell Quansah after Yves Bissouma stole Wataru Endo!

Heung-min Son hesitated at Bissouma’s pass while Brennan Johnson was absolutely lost.

Once the play is finished, Micky van de Ven receives a warning. I don’t know why.

Setback at the moment and no adjustments were made by either team.

Sometimes it seems like a typical, quiet end-of-season affair, but Liverpool have activated this taste throughout.

Mohamed Salah gave up his marker to head home in the 15th minute and Andrew Robertson’s rebound a little before the break was well deserved.

Maybe they’ll twist the knife with some celebration in the second half?
