Liverpool are reportedly a resolution for Ben White after seeing Brighton’s defenseman impress on a loan at Leeds United last season.
The whites played a key role in Leeds’ promotion campaign, starting all 46 games, while the whites secured their return to the Premier League after a 16-year absence.
It will be part of Brighton’s first team plans next season, unless Liverpool can offer enough to convince them to make tactics with the central defender.
Jurgen Klopp’s look seeks a central defense after Dejan Lovren left Anfield to sign for Zenit St Petersburg.
And White may be the best signing for the supply festival for Joe Gomez and Joel Matip, while having the prospect of being a long-term defensive spouse for Virgil van Dijk.
White is on the Reds radar after being extensively on loan at the club in Leeds, according to Liverpool Echo.
Having inspired the center of Leeds’ defense, White also proved that he is able to bet as a right-back and defensive midfielder.
And because Liverpool needs a policy for flying backs Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson, as well as a new power station, White’s versatility can be precisely what they need.
According to Transfermarkt statistics, White is valued at about five million pounds, but Brighton will likely require at least twice as many clubs wishing to point it out.
Manchester United and Manchester City are credited with interest in the defender, who, according to Brighton manager Graham Potter, is highly regarded by Amex.
“It’s just that he’s with Leeds this year,” Potter said when asked about White last month.
“We all win. Ben has gained a lot of experience, Leeds has achieved their promotional goal.
“But we noticed it very well. We love him very much. He’s a very smart player and, fortunately, he’s our player. “
When asked about his plans for White next season, Potter insisted, “He will compete for a position like the others. “
