Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson aims to continue at the point for the next six or seven years

Jordan Henderson joined Liverpool in 2011 from Sunderland.

And since then, the midfielder has established the midfielder as a key gear in Liverpool’s midfield.

Under Jurgen Klopp, the Reds undertook a primary transformation, and Henderson was at the center of it.

In total, Liverpool captain has played 366 matches in all competitions for the Merseysiders, in which he scored 29 and helped 50.

Henderson also, of course, led the club to his Champions League and his first Premier League title.

However, with England’s now-30-year-old foreigner and his existing contract in 2023, the Liverpool faithful might have expected their captain to evolve in the coming years.

But if Henderson succeeds, the Reds may not see the midfielder’s back for a while.

In a recent interview, Liverpool captain spoke of how well he felt physically, before revealing that he hoped to continue betting on England and Liverpool as long as possible:

“I’ve just turned 30 and I still feel like I’m 25 physically and I feel like I always do.

“I’m at a smart moment in my career in terms of pleasure and physically, not even a question about it yet.

“I need to go play as long as possible. I still love the game and need to play for England and Liverpool as long as possible.

“I have lived my life the right way in terms of doing everything right, eating the right thing, getting a good night’s sleep and living my life in the most productive way.

Henderson added:

“Then, even in the next six or seven years, I hope to be able to carry out at the highest level.

“At the moment I feel very physically intelligent and feel like I’m in a smart part of my career in terms of the balance of pleasure I’ve had over the last 10 years, but I also feel very strong. “
