Lorient-PSG live: Paris at title disadvantage?

PSG will visit Lorient on Wednesday evening as part of Ligue 1 matchday 29. The match can be followed live on our website from 7:00 p. m.

Lorient

The capital club could be crowned French champions for the 12th time in their history on Wednesday night, the last match of matchday 29 of Ligue 1, a match that had been postponed by LFP due to the clever European functionality of PSG, OM and Lille.

But Kylian Mbappe’s teammates won’t be entirely sure of his fate. The officialization of its name will depend on two conditions. The first is for the Red & Blues to win at Lorient (7pm); and the moment is that Monaco, their second placed in the standings, do not beat Lille a little later (21:00 CET).

Heading into Brittany, Luis Enrique’s players have an 11-point lead over ASM. Even in the event of a draw against Les Merlus and a defeat for the Monegasques against LOSC, and despite a goal difference largely in their favour (44 to 17 for the club from the Rock), they will not be mathematically crowned.

Luis Enrique has to rest several of his veteran players to face the FCL. Three days after the 4-1 thrashing of OL at the Parc des Princes, the Spanish coach will be without Marquinhos, Achraf Hakimi, Bradley Barcola, Vitinha and Warren Zaire-Emery, all of whom are rested for the upcoming matches.

Lorient: Mvogo – Mendy, Adjei, Touré – Katseris, Abergel, Bakayoko, Yongwa – Bouanani, Bamba, Ponceau.

PSG: Donnarumma – Mukiele, Skriniar, L. Hernandez, Nuno Mendes – Ugarte, F. Ruiz, Lee – Dembele, Ramos, Mbappé.

The Ligue 1 matchday 29 match between FC Lorient and Paris Saint-Germain will kick off at 7:00 p. m. The match will be broadcast live and exclusively on the Prime Video channel, which can be streamed via mobile and tablet subscription.
