Jefferson County Public Schools in Kentucky announced Thursday that all football games from top schools scheduled for Thursday and Friday will be postponed by Saturday and Sunday.
The resolution is a reaction at nine o’clock at night, a curfew set Wednesday for Louisville following the announcement of the Breonna Taylor case. The curfew will expire on Saturday.

George Rogers Clark’s football game at the Ballard scheduled for Friday was canceled before JCPS announced it on Thursday, Ballard’s sporting director Chris Kinney said.
Kinney declined to comment more, however, George Rogers Clark’s coach Oliver Lucas said the resolution made through his school’s principals was kind to protests in Louisville around the Breonna Taylor case.

Trinity-St. The Xavier football match scheduled for Friday was postponed to October 2. Central, in downtown Louisville, moved his game out of town to Meade County on Saturday.
Ballard opened his season last week with a 27-0 win at Fern Creek. The Bruins have played a home game since November 2, 2018, when they beat Daviess County 33-7 in the first round of the Class 6A playoffs. their 2019 games on the road as the school demolished and rebuilt its football stadium.
Kinney said Ballard will fill a vacancy on his schedule by October 2. The Bruins are scheduled to play Trinity on October 9 before receiving Eastern on October 16.
