Lovato from Salernitana to Torino, Zima towards Slavia Prague

Salernitana defender Matteo Lovato is expected to have his Torino medical tomorrow, preferring them to Udinese, while David Zima is heading to Slavia Prague.

The Granata are reshuffling their defence and the resolution was already made before Alessandro Buongiorno suffered a shoulder injury.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Udinese had also reached an agreement with Salernitana, but in the end Lovato moved to Turin.

In fact, he already worked with coach Ivan Juric at Hellas Verona and hopes to meet again.

At the moment, Udinese are keeping Nehuen Pérez after negotiations with Napoli for the sale of 18 million euros failed.

Lovato is expected to go through her medical with Granata on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Zima is in complex talks with Hamburger SV, but Sky Sport Italia claims that they have stalled and that he is instead heading to Slavia Prague.

The 23-year-old is returning to the club he left to join Torino in the summer of 2021 for €5.9m.

Zima has made just six competitive appearances for Toro this season, scoring one goal, and has struggled to get back into form following a serious knee injury in January 2023.
