LSU is scheduled to host the state of Mississippi on Sept. 26 as a season opener, with more home games scheduled in Missouri, South Carolina, Alabama and Ole Miss.
The school does not sell singles game tickets and said subscription holders expect a reduced ticket allocation so everyone can attend the games. Student tickets will be available.
“By doing our best this season, we will bet on football for sure with the enthusiasts in the stands and it is exciting for everyone who loves LSU,” Athletic Director Scott Woodward said in a statement.
Edwards told reporters Tuesday that Louisiana had more instances of COVID-19 consistent with capital than any other state on the SEC’s footprint.
